About this apartment

A 75 square meter two-bedroom on the seventh floor of a 2019 building, two blocks from Tao Dan Park. The east-facing windows catch the morning light. By 7am the sofa is warm. By 9am the heat has moved on and the room cools again.

The building has an elevator that works. The lobby has a doorman who works the day shift. The street outside is one of the quieter ones in District 3: wide enough for two motorbikes to pass without anyone honking, narrow enough that taxis don’t bother routing through.

The kitchen has a real induction stove, a kettle, a moka pot, and the cookware to make a meal that isn’t just instant noodles. The fridge is full-size. The washing machine is in the bathroom, typical for the city, less typical for the price.

The neighborhood

District 3 is the quieter neighbor of District 1. Walking five minutes east puts you on Vo Van Tan, which runs into the city center. Walking five minutes west puts you in Tao Dan Park, which fills with tai chi practitioners at 6am and badminton matches at 5pm.

The street the building sits on has three coffee shops within 200 meters, one of which roasts its own beans. The closest convenience store (Circle K) is at the corner, open 24 hours. The closest reliable banh mi is at the corner of Nguyễn Thị Diệu, two blocks left out of the front door.

Transit is straightforward. The 03 bus stops at the end of the street and runs to Ben Thanh Market. Grab and Gojek motorbike taxis arrive within 2-3 minutes at any hour. The closest metro station (when Line 2 opens) will be on Le Duan, a 15-minute walk or 4-minute motorbike ride.
